Our field has become lively by planting summer vegetables from green house to the field.
Looking at vegetables growing from seeds and seeing them together in the field, we feel so happy, like kids going to the kindergarten for the first time and chatting happily with new friends! Green peas and soybeans are seeded directly to the ground growing harmoniously.
For our second year of 晴ファーム (Hare Farm), we try to work on “fewer plastics” and “cover grounds with green” as much as we can.
As a small step for this, we grow green peas only with bamboo poles, jute and hemp strings (no plastic poll and net!). And between green peas, we will plant herbs to cover soils.
It’s still far from our ideal situation, but we keep doing what we can do now.
